Google Business Profile Checklist

A focused profile checklist for eligibility, categories, service area, hours, photos, reviews, Q&A, and contact paths.

Use case: Use when a local business profile looks incomplete, stale, or confusing to customers.

Review each profile section from the customer's point of view, then update the highest-friction item first.

Use this checklist when you want to clean up the profile customers see before they visit your website.

Start with eligibility, business name, category, contact paths, hours, address, and service area. Then move into services, products, photos, reviews, Q&A, posts, and monthly tracking. Do not choose categories or add services just because they sound like ranking opportunities. They should describe the real business.
